RULES
All club members and visitors must observe the club’s rules regarding the carrying of permits while fishing, catch limits, fishing methods, the order of fishing and catch returns. Anglers are asked to read these rules carefully.
Fishing Seasons
Salmon – 15th February ~ 15th October.
Brown Trout – 15th march ~ 30th September.
Sea Trout and Finnock – 15th February ~ 15th October.
All sea trout or finnock under 10 inches must be returned unharmed to the water.
Permits
Only members of Portree Angling Club, and holders of visitor permits, may fish on any of the club’s water
No permit holder may fish without his permit in his possession. Permits must be produced on request .
Catches
Anglers must observe the daily catch.
Thereafter, anglers may continue fishing on a catch and release basis.
