Above are just a few examples of the type of traditional wet flies used throughout Scotland and used to some effect on our local waters. The Storr Lochs has a Mayfly hatch, which can last for several weeks, during which time the trout become switched on to them and little else. At this time imitations of Mayfly in their various stages are a must.
